Idube Game Lodge is situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, in the heart of South Africa's premier wildlife conservation area.
The exciting 'Big Five' Idube Private Game Reserve provides a haven where the best of African animals and birds are prolific.
Idube Game Lodge has 10 comfortable chalets, set amongst green lawns and shady trees. Each chalet is individually decorated, with attractively draped mosquito nets giving a touch of safari romance. Windows also have mosquito gauze for added comfort. All chalets have air conditioner, fan, safe, outside shower, tea and coffee facilities, as well as a private relaxing deck.
In between drives, guests can enjoy the pool and bird watch, or relax on their private decks and watch the warthogs and the nyala families on the lawn.
Each meal is a special occasion at Idube Game Lodge, with breakfast and lunch enjoyed at the open air dining deck and dinner celebrated in the lantern lit boma or out at the bush venue. There guests enjoy the quiet under the stars, until the sound of drums and singing fill the air, followed by a delicious, traditional braai (barbeque) featuring the chef's specialties.
Our chefs create meals to remember, combining african flavours and flair with the latest gourmet trends. Game meats are also often on the menu, eagerly tried by adventurous guests.
Around the camp, there are a number of viewing decks where guests can enjoy watching game during the day. The dam, directly opposite Idube Game Lodge, offers a sunken hide and is ideal for bird watching or viewing game from a close distance, virtually unnoticed.
The game viewing is excellent at Idube Game Lodge and qualified rangers and trackers escort guests daily on open vehicle safaris.
